You can create a list of commands and feedback channels in Exсel table and save the table in the CSV format. Then the table can be imported into your project as a new Modbus device.

Technology of Communication with Modbus
Possible connection scheme:
Supported data transfer protocols:
- Modbus (TCP) Master
- Modbus (RTU) Master
- Modbus (ASCII) Master
- Modbus Server (TCP) Slave for connection of iRidium clients to SCADA; clients work in the Slave mode
- Modbus (TCP to RTU) Master for working via the hardware gate - Modbus TCP to RTU - without auto-conversion of data
- Modbus (TCP to ASCII) Master for working via hardware gate - Modbus TCP to ASCII - without auto-conversion of data
Supported Modbus register types:
- Coil Register - flag registers, 1-bit, writing and reading data
- Holding Register - 16-bit, reading and writing data
- Discrete Inputs - 1-bit, reading data only
- Input Register - 16-bit, reading data only
Supported data size:
- Word (16-bit) - for the standard Modbus protocol
- DWord (32-bit) - contains 2 standard Word registers
- Float (32-bit) - Word 32-bit, data writing is performed with ASCII symbols
Control of Modbus via the Internet:
- when connecting to the equipment via TCP/IP dynamic switch from local connection to work via the Internet is possible
- when connecting to the equipment via the RS232 protocol, control via the Internet is possible but iRidium Gate is required
Data import and manual setup:
- importing the list of registers from the table in the CSV format (internal format of import)
- forming the list of registers manually
Feedback:
- request about the state of registers is performed at the iRidium App launch and during its work. The request frequency is set up by the user (the application activates transactions, requesting the state of all registers in the project)
Required hardware:
set up network equipment for IP-connection between control panels and the controller
set up Wi-Fi router or a remote access point for connecting remote control panels to the controller
optional: a hardware-controlled gate (TCP/IP in RTU, TCP/IP in ASCII) for controlling the equipment remotely or from wireless devices 
optional: Windows XP/7/8 based PC for setting up iRidium Gate, if you need to control the equipment remotely
Required software:
- iRidium Environment (iRidium GUI Editor, iRidium Transfer, iRidium App) for creating a visualization project - for free

Number of simultaneously connected control panels:
- when working via Modbus (TCP) the number of simultaneous connections depends on the controller capabilities
- up to 52 control panels when connecting via iRidium Gate

- It is possible to control Modbus, AV equipment and any other iRidium supported automation system in one project
Licensing:
- Device License for Modbus - enables one control panel to control any Modbus compatible controller and send commands to AV equipment (without receiving feedback from AV)
- Device License Pro for Modbus - enables one panel to control any Modbus-сompatible controller and any AV device with receiving feedback from script drivers for AV
- Trial License (Free) - enables one control panel to control any supported driver and script modules, it is valid for 30 days
