"UGMK-ZDOROVYE" Medical Center is one of the largest automation objects in the Ural. The total square of the center is 28 000 square meters; 26 automation systems are used in the building. iRidium is used to control automation equipment in patient wards and in public areas.
Why did you decide to use iRidium? How did it improve your project?
iRidium was selected as visualization and integrations of different protocol were required. And iRidium is a good financial solution. Another advantage is that it’s convenient to launch the same software on panels and the server.
iRidium was used to create a special interface to control from a patient's control panel and from a panel on nurse's stations. iRidium server UMC (7 psc) are used to integrate KNX with SBO by Schneider Electric and Schrack Seconet VCIP ward alarm system.
iRidium also added developments to the driver Modbus RTU, to block requets of malfunctioning modules.
After the project was realized, there started development of a Launcher control panels in patients' wards.
Tasks set by the customer:
- getting notifications from the medical control system;
- forming a greeting on the screen when a patients is hospitalized;
- capability to block certain apps;
- capability to display and hide additional app of the panel screen;
- remote control of fonts for notifications and a screensaver.
